Ron Thomas
Ron Thomas has accomplished a great deal in a short while. After
completing his Bachelor's degree in Communication Arts at Loyola Marymount
University, he went on to gain a Masters at Pepperdine University in
Communications.
Ron has worked in the fields of radio, artist management, label
a&r/promotions, studio management and sound editing and remixing.
Discography
Ron has created three commercially released compilation albums, including
"Celebrate", "Music at Night" and "A Night at the Red Dragon." In
addition, he has collaborated on a number of works put out by the legendary
Thunderpuss studio, including "Barry Harris and Chris Cox present Thunderpuss",
"Madonna Thunderpuss GHV2 Megamix", and Barry Harris featuring Pepper Mashay "I
Got My Pride", and Chris Cox vs. Happy Clappers "I Believe 2002".
Ron has received credits for his key work on such hit songs as "All Things
(Theme from Queer Eye for the Straight Guy)", Fischerspooner vs. Billy Squier
"Everybody Wants You To Emerge" (available on the top-selling Queer Eye
Soundtrack), Pepper Mashay's "I Pledge", and the #1 Billboard Dance Hit Chris
Cox vs. Happy Clappers "I Believe".
DJ Biography
Ron Thomas is a unique and highly gifted DJ talent to grace the clubs of
Los Angeles. Since his professional entrance in 1996, this Billboard Reporting
DJ has received accolades that are usually reserved for the national icons of
DJ's. His fans spoke out in a 2000 West Hollywood.com survey, rating him The
"most popular DJ in Los Angeles".
