About DJ Ron ThomasRon
Thomas is a unique and highly gifted DJ talent to grace the clubs of Los
Angeles. Since his professional entrance in 1996, this Billboard Reporting DJ has received
accolades that are usually reserved for the national icons of DJ's. His
fans spoke out in a 2000 Westhollywood.com survey, rating him The "most popular
DJ in Los Angeles".
Ron Thomas' credibility,
knowledge and experience extends to the production studio, remix studios,
record labels, management offices and radio station DJ booths. This industrious young man has
worked as a talent manager to such acts as Bananarama, Mary Griffin and Barry
Manilow through Stiletto Entertainment, and has been an A& R Manager at Megahit
Records. He was also involved with 12" Singles Development at Moonshine
Music.
He developed a broad following on Groove 103.1 acting as a programmer and
on-air host DJ with the highest rated mixshow "The Lunch Groove Mix", and has
now transferred that following to the new and highly celebrated "clickandgroove.com"
internet recorded music site.
Upon successfully impressing the famed dance remixers Thunderpuss, Ron was offered an apprenticeship with the duo in their
work where he worked full time at their studio for over 3 years. Working for Thunderpuss, Ron’s credits include Barry Harris’ single “I Got My
Pride”, Madonna’s GHv2 Megamix, and Sonique’s upcoming LP cut “Magic”. These
credits helped Ron take a stab at selected Solo projects including “I Pledge” by Pepper Mashay (co-Remix with Jody Den Broeder), and Happy
Clappers “I Believe 2002” (co-Remix with Chris Cox of Thunderpuss).

Ron was also honored to be invited by Barry Harris to work on 2 projects for the
current television and cultural phenomenon "Queer Eye for the Straight Guy".
"All Things" is currently riding high on the Billboard Club Play Chart, and
"Everybody Wants You To Emerge" is a featured track on the top selling Queer Eye
Soundtrack. Ron's vast
experience has also resulted in several highly successful mix compilation
albums. May 2000 marked the release of his
first compilation titled "CELEBRATE". As we celebrate DJ Ron Thomas, he
celebrated us by releasing in March 2001 a CD doublepack of the highly
anticipated second compilation titled "MUSIC AT NIGHT". Ron’s third compilation
entitled “A NIGHT AT RED DRAGON” was released in May 2002.
